The goal of the PST is to promote networking and interaction among protein investigators in Thailand.  The specific objectives of the PST are to:

1. Strengthen capability in protein research in Thailand
2. Exchange expertise and transfer of new technologies among members
3. Initiate activities with novelty and creativity in field of protein research
4. Liaison with local and international scientific organizations
5. Publicize basic knowledge of protein biochemistry and protein technologies to the scientific community
