AOHUPO Congress, Beijing, China May 5-7, 2012
 |
AOHUPO, found in 2002 by a group of proteomics researchers in Asia Pacific Oceanic region, is a part of HUPO (Human Proteome Organization). Owing to the increasing interest in proteomics research in Asia Pacific region, AOHUPO has been organizing the biennial proteomics conference and this year it will be the 6th AOHUPO Congress, to be held in Beijing, China during May 5-7, 2012.

The Protein Society of Thailand (PST) highly encourages young researchers and students to participate this congress, and has rewarded 2 travelling fellowships for 2 Thai students to attend the conference (see Announcement at www.proteinsocthai.net). The PST committee would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 2 students who have been selected based on their outstanding abstracts. The committee would also like to encourage students to submit abstracts for the conference and those who qualify to apply for Young Scientist Travel Award, of which the application deadline will be February 25, 2012.

Selection of AOHUPO 2012 Travel Grants
The Protein Society of Thailand makes available 2 travel grants (30,000 baht each) for student members to present their research at the AOHUPO meeting which will be held in Beijing, China during May 5-7, 2012. Followings are the 2 selected abstracts the committee chose to receive the Travel Grants this year:

AOHUPO 2012 Travel Grants Available for PST Student Members
The Protein Society of Thailand makes available 2 travel grants (30,000 baht each) for PST student members to present their research at the AOHUPO meeting in Beijing, China during May 5-7, 2012. The applicant must be a “Student Member” of the society to be eligible for this scholarship award. To apply, send an abstract of your work to tekyw@mahidol.ac.th before January 20, 2012. Successful applicants will be informed via email and names of the awardees will be posted on this PST web site soon afterward.
